Northern Flicker Perched

CA$150.00
Limited Availability

A northern flicker perched on a branch. These beautifully coloured birds took me by surprise when I moved to Squamish - I hadn’t seen one before. Fun fact: Northern flickers typically sleep while in a standing or upright position, often clinging vertically to a surface like a tree trunk, pole, building, or a suitable cavity. This is characteristic behaviour for woodpeckers, known as “vertical clinging”.

Size: 7.5 × 7.5”
Medium: watercolour painting

Unframed - loose paper
Shipped in rigid, protective packaging
