Squamish Sticker 3"

CA$6.00

All stickers are made from thick, durable vinyl to protect from scratches, water & sunlight. They’re good for water bottles, cars, skis, etc!

This sticker started out as a 3D digital model I’d built when trying to understand the geology of Squamish is 2018, and resulted in a diagram I thought too pretty to remain in my research. While I realize the sun does not set in the north, I enjoyed the colours of the sunset too much to refer to reality. Depicted: the Stawamus Chief, one of the largest granite monoliths in the world and one of my favourite local hikes. In the background is Mount Garibaldi - a stratovolcano named after an Italian soldier who never set foot in Squamish - it has since been renamed Nch'ḵay̓, the traditional indigenous name.
